The board 2010/2011

In the future we will have spetacular photos of ourselves doing fabulous things on this page but until then we thought it would be polite to at least introduce ourselves. ESN Reykjavík is a democratic organization but without a leader we would run around like headless hens. Therefore we have chosen a president:

 Hafdís Halldórsdóttir the original viking.  The leader of ESN Reykjavik runs her crew just like her fore fathers did, a stern leader  Hafdis is always on top of her game never leaving a stone unturned.  Making sure ESN'ers get the best deals in town, you rarely see this viking take a break.  

Máté Molnár: The Spanish boy in the body of a Hungarian.  You will always see him downtown during a Real Madrid match cheering and shouting, you will also see him downtown partying with foreigners and Icelanders.  Our vice president of ESN takes his job seriously, he created and manages the ESN football and is now implementing basketball as well.  

Anna Björk Arnadóttir is our bridge to the rest of the world.  As ESN's National Representative she let's the rest of us know what is going on with other ESN sections in other countries without her we would not know what the world is up too.  When she isn't working with other nations involved in ESN she is jetsetting across the Atlantic working on numerous ESN projects.  

Sonja Agustsdottir is Hafdis' right hand woman.  Without her nothing would get done, ESN's secretary is a stickler for information thanks to her studies in law.  Her hobbies beside the law include reading manuals, watching law shows and writing.

Anna Jónsdóttir is ESN's event planner. She studies Tourism and was an Au-Pair in France and an AFS exchange student in Argentina and Barcelona.  You will almost always see her on the phone making deals or planning trips.  Her goal is to show ESN'ers the hidden gems of Iceland.  Call her the modern day Indiana Jones. 

 Although we are a non-profit organization, we do need somebody who takes care of our
bank account and has every money related cases under control:

Sæmundur Ingi Johnsen: is our trusty treasurer. Growing up he excelled in the game of Monopoly, now he runs the entire financials of ESN Reykjavik.  A born hustler he can turn 1 kronur into 5 kronur within 2 hours.   

Inga Jónasdóttir:  Inga is ESN's crazy party planner and the main reason ESN'ers cannot make it to class Thursday morning due to hangovers.  She not only knows how to throw a party but she knows how to party.  Be sure to check out her party's every Wednesday!!
