26/11/2011 13:00 - 17:00 Saturday the 26th of November ESN is planning to go Horse Riding in the beautiful country side near Hveragerði.
We will be picked up at 13:00 (location advertised later) and taken to Eldhestar's head quarters, located just outside Hveragerði, where they will gear us up and give us minor instructions on how to handle the amazing icelandic horse.
We will go through the surrounding area which is known for it's geothermal activity. We will ride past some lava fields, meadows and rivers, trying to inhale the natural beauty that Iceland has to offer.
The tour itself on horseback will take somewhere between 1,5 - 2 hours. We recommend that you take a packed lunch with you since there will be no stopping at gas stations or other places where you will be able to buy food.
And of course you have to dress according to the weather, raining or snowing dress properly.
The price is set at 7.000 ISK for ESN cardholders and 8.000 ISK for others. Please note that this is a discount price even though it may seem steep, where the normal price is around 10.000 ISK.
