Multicultural Day

15/05/2010 13:00 - 17:00 Do you want to be a part of a colorful and joyful event? Do you want to get to know more about various cultures and present your own?
ESN Reykjavík welcomes all exchange students to be together on 15th of May during the Multicultural Day!
What is it about? There is a big diversity of nationalities living side by side here in Iceland and on this day they will show the best of their customs and traditions. The event consists of two main parts:
First there will be a Multicultural parade. It starts at 13:00 and will proceed from Hallgrímskirkja to City Hall. We are going to be one intercultural mix united by ESN colors! As all the other groups, we will try to be bright and loud during this parade.
Second, there will be a Multicultural Festival in the City Hall and Iðnó from 14:00 to 17:00 with all kinds of activities; music, performances, singing, dancing and a market. We are going to have a stand for ESN Reykjavík as well, where we will present ESN to the public.
Don't hesitate to contact us in case you have suggestions on how you would like to participate in this event. We are open to your creative ideas.
